This past week I have been super into organizing my explosion that I call a bedroom. To be fair, I'm a clean person, just have little room to work with. So far, the transformation has been wonderful. It's not finished yet, but soon enough I'll have a before and after post, and you can congratulate me on being more of a human and treating my room less like a rats nest.
I've also made a great effort at writing more. My writing hasn't been forced, either, which is one huge reason I took a blogging hiatus, besides the obligatory "I promise to write more!" posts. Creativity, inspiration and motivation have finally returned, leaving me a very happy camper, and in the past two weeks, it's shown every time I check my google analytics.
I did, however, decide that this might not be the year for a project 365. I had already skipped a few days, and I justified that failure by saying "well, I laid in bed all day, hungover. There's nothing interesting about pictures of a tall glass of water and a couple aspirin." And, yes, there are some of you that can make that an artsy fartsy inspirational photo, and kudos to you for that. But, I've realized the more things you say "yes" to, the more things you're neglecting, too. I've got plenty of projects in the works right now, and a photo a day just isn't ranking high enough on my list right now.
Said the girl who LOVES photography.
But I digress.
I decided that I'm not getting any younger over here (my birthday was this past Sunday!) so I should probably work on my 30 before 30 list. I'm not going to reveal which item is going to be checked off just yet, but you'd better believe you'll hear about it.
